Purr, part 3

I woke up, feeling that my heart was beating quickly. It took me a whole minute to calm down; that dream was beyond the definition of "strange" for me.

I put one hand on my head, trying to forget as quick as possible the things that I had seen. But there was something unexpected by me...

- What the...? - I said, looking at my hand under the moonlight that was coming through the window. It was enveloped by a silvery glove, or something like that; strangely, I didn´t felt that as if was something alien, but as if it was something completely normal..

- It is possible...?

My entire arm was also encased in that silver second skin; near the shoulder, I found two lines, of a blue tone, that formed two "V", one above the other; I could verify the same thing on my other shoulder. I was about to fear that the dream could be real but, suddenly, my legs moved by themselves and I felt that I was stripped of the control over my body; I was placed at the back, from which I could feel the astonishment of someone.

Whoever it was using my body, got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. I noticed that my eyes could see more clearly than ever, although not in my control, knowing that I had myopia and astigmatism.

When my body reached its destination, it stopped in front of the mirror, allowing me to glance at the upper part of my body. I wanted to gasp, but I couldn´t.

I saw a beautiful face with feline traits; it had a thin layer of white fur, but it was like naked skin. My eyes had a soft yellow colour, resembling two small pieces of amber; my hair was black, with two small tufts in each side of my face that gave me a cute look. I also had two cat ears that had black fur on the outside and a bit of white fur on the inside, having the visible skin in a soft pink colour.

"I look gorgeus..."

- Huh? What is "gorgeous"? - asked the one in control. It seemed that it could hear my thoughts. The high-pitch that my voice had now sounded right, like if I had born as a female.

"Who are you? Why are you in my body?"

- Your body? I don´t know what are you talking about... I only knew that my master and I were in a strange place and... - she interrupted herself, covering her mouth with one hand.

"What is it? What´s the matter?" - I asked, feeling her surprise.

- I... I... - very slowly, the hand was being set aside. - I can talk... I know how to talk, just like my master...

One tear of joy was sliding down "our" cheek; she smiled softly and touched the tear, noticing the silvery thing that had enveloped "us".

"Like your master? Wait... Are you... my little panther unnamed? - I said, unsure of the question but... feeling dizzy because of the mixed feelings that we had at that moment.

- Panther unnamed... - she slowly said to herself. Suddenly, she opened her eyes, staring at the mirror.

- Master...?

"You´re really my pet... That means that the dream was true after all..."

She rose her head to the roof and closed the eyes. In that moment, I could feel a warm hug, from all directions, like our souls were the ones hugging themselves.

- Master... Oh master... I wished that I could be with you so many times... I can´t believe that this finally happened...

"I can´t believe it either...That pearl must have triggered something..."

- Pearl? Is it this thing that I´m wearing? - she lowered her head and ran a hand over her body. It felt like a second skin made of latex. Except the head, every part of our body was inside that thing.

"Truly amazing... Mayde it had magical powers after all..."

- It feels good to have a body as similar as yours, but... Now I can´t feel your caresses like before... - her sadness filled me. I felt that she really liked how sweet I was with her, when she was a cat.

"Don´t be sad, my dear. Maybe we can´t be like we were before, but... Isn´t this better than that?" - I tried to cheer her up. Pushed by my intention to comfort her, I came near her "essence", and caressed it. She closed her eyes, feeling it like it was a real caress.

- How...? How did you...?

"I don´t know... Mmmm... Let me try something..."

I attempted to move my right hand, but it didn´t do anything. I tried once more, having the sensation of touching her soul and merging with it; it was like we were both in control of the hand.

When I moved it, opening it and closing it, she gasped softly.

- Ah..! I... I feel you... I feel your... I feel it with me...

It was weird, like I was wearing her... Or was she wearing me?

"It´s... beyond my comprehension..."


Later, she was walking outside, on the street. She was delighted to feel the wind, to be abble to walk on two feet. I was on the backseat, having removed my hand and letting her to have all the control. After all, I could feel her enjoyment as my own, making me smile without a mouth to do it.

- This is... great... It´s a perspective completely different... And, I can´t stop myself from talking. It´s such a good feeling to be able to hear yourself...

"Indeed it is. Maybe, when our bodies merged into one, you had learned the ability from me, including all of my knowledge..."

- It´s not a bad thing, I think... It confuses me to know how to do things that I couldn´t do as a cat, but it eases me to have your support.

"It is my pleasure to be able to feel all of this..." - And it was true, I was liking it a lot, even from the back.

In a moment, I felt pushed from the back and we almost fell to the ground. A streetlight saved us, because I could grab it with our two hands.

- What was that?

I heard a giggle in my mind, and sighed. It was obvious.

"Sorry, but I wanted you to enjoy our gift too."

- Well, you could have warned me before...

She giggled again and I chuckled, having one of the best moments of all my life.

- Forgive me to not have treated your illnes, as well as not being able to figure out what it is...

"You don´t have to worry about it... It´s not your fault..."

I sighed, as I began to return home, knowing that my life wouldn´t be the same from that moment on.
