Even when she was nothing more than an amorphous puddle of data, her creator didn´t show his face to her; he simply gave her orders, and she blindly followed them.
As her size grew, from eating raw data, her shape became that of some kind of lupine creature; however, she kept the curious ability to return to her previous, almost liquid, form.

What was her purpose at that time?

Nothing more than to follow his commands to conquer everything by assimilating it; the terrified people of the cyberspace could do nothing to avoid it, except from returning to the safety of their operator´s terminals. The few of them that decided to try stopping her were simply enveloped in a sphere, of the same type of data that composed her body, before being swallowed in her mouth.

However... To avoid her to become nothing more than a mindless beast, the absorbed data was stored away from her own body; she only perceived the energy, through a special link. It didn´t mind to her, as the large buildings of the net were falling before her own eyes, becoming more energy for her to grow.

It wasn´t long until only one sector of the Net remained: unbeknownst to her, it was the same zone where her brother stopped her from assimilating a pesky blue navigator.

When she arrived, she received a warm greeting; a talking skeleton and a chubby tree were shooting something at her face. It didn´t hurt, but it was annoying enough to divert her attention to them; her creator seemed amused, as she could heard a chuckle from him.

Following them to an ample building, probably used in big events as it had a big arena and bleachers around it, she finally managed to smash, under one of her gigantic claws, the blue vehicle from where the beams were shot. After that, she searched for them, wanting nothing more except from their data; however, as she reached the middle of the arena, she was trapped inside some kind of prison, made of a mix between data and energy.

It hurt her when she tried to take down the translucent walls, by using her own body to do it. Her anger was slowly growing, as she was unable to follow the basic commands of her programming. The digital walls that imprisoned her crumbled before her repeated attempts; but, not too long after that, she was being shot from strange devices around the stadium.

She howled in pain, as the energy beams were starting to delete her data, although at a very slow pace; after a minutes, she felt an increase in the intensity of the beams, prompting her to howl more loudly. A blue shark man seemed to join the two cyber individuals that brought her there, or maybe he was there all along, out of her range of vision. Were they there as mere observers of her predicament, or as some kind of failsafe?
Whatever it was, it didn´t matter to her, as she emitted a strong roar, out of desperation; to the surprise of the three navigators, the devices shooting the beams blew up.

Feeling that her pain ceased to be, her gaze was set on them; she growled menacingly, as she came closer to them.

But, despite the anger that she felt towards them, she was ordered to simply assimilate them; although she wanted to utterly destroy them, she followed her creator´s order.

Finally, with nobody to stop her, she was free to completely absorb into her what remained of the Net... or so her creator thought...

A unknown individual arrived before her, in a ray of light; she could feel something very similar to her from the newcomer...
As the light dissipated, as long as the cloud of dust produced with the arrival, she was able to see who it was.

The same navigator that her brother prevented her to assimilate; although it had a different look, and that strange feeling that he had something in common, but she was sure that it was the same one, as his chest emblem was the same, albeit in a different colour.
n
However, when she tried to put him under her right paw, he quickly escaped, headbutting her a moment after; he even managed to knock her down with a kick in mid air. Taking advantage of the situation, he began to absorb her in a similar fashion to how her brother dit it so before. But, in a surprise attack, she inmobilized him with tentacle-like strands, formed from her own body.

Finally, she had the opportunity to decompose his data, as the previous step to fulfilling her programming.

Much to his creator surprise, which seemed genuine from his concerned tone, the navigator began the process of assimilation with her; in a matter of seconds, he managed to completely absorb her into his own data, before doing the same to the remains of the Net, gathering the data like a blue whirlwind.

- ...and that´s all you need to know about basic chip usage. - said the NetNavi with the big, and transparent, head. His excitement about his favourite conversation topic was big enough, to prevent him to see that the customer in front of him was lost in though. - Of course, with practice you can develop advanced strategies, so you don´t need to rely on brute force alone. Here, take these as some kind of starter pack; don´t tell Yamitarou, or he will be mad to me. - he added, before her five chips.

She blinked for a second, returning to reality, and extended her right, dark grey coloured, hand to pick the gift.

She only entered this strange place, called "Higureya", out of curiosity; his apparent owner, a skinny navi with a big head, that seemed to have small squares illuminate as he talked, freaked out at first when seeing her appearance. However, as soon as he was asked about a few chips, he forgot his fears, and began talking about the basics.

- You know, you almost make my processor stop because the circuitry on your body reminds me of a certain event; but, as soon as you asked me, I realized that its impossible for a navi to be made of bugs. - he shook a hand, downplaying his fears. - Next time yoou come here, I´ll introduce you to a skilled battler that can give you some advice.

After leaving the store, still holding in her right hand the five chips, she became thoughtful again; although she was able to pay attention to the netdealer, quite odd if she was absent at the same time, she couldn´t help but to feel some kind of anguish.

She came to this digital city, because she only wanted to find food, but... the murmurs of the people that were around made her unease, as she was remembering her past more clearly than when she was resting in the tranquility that was the vast void of the Undernet.

Even her own name was a blur to her, as well as the letter engraved in her chest... But for how long?
Here´s another piece of "human Gospel"; although it´s basically a retelling of Gospel´s story in the Rockman.EXE anime, from the beast perspective, it also helps me to get more situated in the story´s context. I hope that you have as much fun reading it, as I writing it^^.

Comments are appreciated.

The Megaman franchise belongs to CAPCOM.
This concept of Gospel is mine, although it´s still in development.
